Web Case

For my web-case I’ll use the Boston city to analyze its sustainable city effort. Boston is a big city, I think it will be interesting to use it for a closer analysis. Also, I live close to it so it’s close to a reality that I see in my everyday life.

I plan to use as a policy/planning area of interest our criminal justice system. It’s an area that I believe is interesting and important to analyze specially because I think people don’t associate sustainability with the criminal justice system. I plan to talk about this relation between them using the four key areas of just sustainability. I chose this area because I’m a crime and justice studies major. I have an understanding of how the system works, how it was designed and in what ways it can help or be just sustainability.

With that in mind, this case is interesting to me because I get to use an area that I like and have some knowledge on, to analyze a city that I’m close to through topics that I find interesting and important to talk about.
